Today's "I learned this from a translation job": in Swedish preschools, they call all their teachers "fröken" (literally "Miss"), even the male ones! So in the thing I'm working on, there's a Miss Ann and a Miss Lars. I think that's wonderful!

The internet: "kuksugare" in Swedish means "cocksucker".
On the second attempt it turned out to mean "coachman's cottage".
