Travelling light, Transition Town West Kirby’s lantern parade for peace took place last weekend, walking along the waterfront, finishing with a campfire, stories, peace songs and a warming cuppa.
It’s an annual event, connection Remembrance and the old traditions of St Martin’s Day with the “call for peace, starting in our local areas where we can all make a difference.”
Always important, never more timely.
