I really want my general physician to be the person guiding me through transition. It seems like there is not a lot of specialized knowledge of transgender health. Rn my transgender health is in the hands of planned parenthood. Not an intentional dig at PP but it feels really impersonal and strange that I won’t have another appointment until 3 months out from 1st appt. Not sure if that is common.
