Landscape planning is a key tool to organise #TransformativeChange for biodiversity. But to become fully transformative, planning needs to develop along 3 dimensions:
➡️ Systematic & contestation-aware involvement of diverse actors & knowledge systems
➡️ Closer linking of planning with action to advance restoration & sustainable use
➡️ Embedding planning within broader processes of governance change

Last Friday, May 22, the GoDigiBioS partner, PLAN4ALL ZS, conducted an internal workshop within WP2 focused on the typology of interactions between biodiversity, society, economic well-being, and technological development.
The session provided valuable discussions and collaborative insights supporting the project’s ongoing research and interdisciplinary approach.

On April 27th, the Public Forum of Matosinhos took place as part of GoDigiBioS.

Our study from India shows they’re found not only in remote areas— but also in megacities. Our study shows that urban lakes, ponds & canals provide essential livelihood support for marginalised communities. Their foraging practices & knowledge sustain #BioculturalDiversity & hold transformative potential for urban food systems.
