So my good #transfolk, #enbies, and #allies, #MercuryStardust's annual fundraiser for #PointofPride is this weekend and she really needs our help!
A mass reporting campaign has caused both Mercury's main account and Jory's main account to be banned from #TiKTok as well as multiple alts. While they have got the clock app to reinstate Mercury's primary account, several others are still down and I think anybody who understands how an attention-based economy works can respect the amount of damage this kind of thing can cause to the fundraiser.
The goal is $4 million. When I checked in this afternoon they're only at $635,000. So please, go watch for 5 minutes. Engagement matters. Both of them have Instagram and YouTube accounts that you can watch if you can't find them on TikTok.
If you can afford to donate text #transjoy (one word) to 44321 to make that happen. Even single dollar donations count and we need to make up for lost time. Fundraiser ends March 31st.

WHY ARE MORE PEOPLE NOT OUTRAGED BY THIS?? how are the vast majority of #Americans, even supposed #liberals, #leftists and #progressives, just so unthinkingly accepting of this continued #injustice? -

1) You have the right to speak about how *you* feel about #transfolk.
1a) They and others have the right to think that you're an asshole.
1b) Have any transfolk actually attempted to make you do / think / feel something you didnt want to?
2) They *do* accept that there are people out there that are not attracted to them. Just as is the situation for *everyone else on the planet*.

Sorry, Roland, but I have literally no idea what you're angry about.
I'm straight. So I think I count as "one of us" in your eyes, but;
* I have close family members and friends who are trans.
* I've been in bed (naked) with a guy. But I am not gay.
* I have never felt prerssured to do anything by a trans person
* Am completely fine with the "bathroom situation" - ie. I dont care if a transman is in the male loos or vice-versa. Nor to I care if toilets are gendered or not.
I mean, fundamentally, do you REALLY care about the genitals of the people who are "allowed" to be in the same room as you, whilst you take a shit in a stall?
