At a doctor's office today they asked for my biological sex in a digital form. They then showed a cis male body and asked me to point to the area I need help with. This does not cover my body and it feels disgusting. I'm not sure how to answer this question in the future because this choice simply does not represent my body and medical staff might not realize that I have breast tissue, estrogen, a vagina ect.. This is why I think we need new language to describe the biological reality of #trans people. "Male" just doesn't cut it for a lot of trans women. Something like "trans female" should be on the list. #transgender #biologicalsex #transfemale #genderdysphoria
