#Basel🇨🇭Bad Bf in April 2018: pictured here a charter train composed of #DB 🇩🇪 #AKE #Rheingold #TEE #TransEuropExpress carriages, among them several @diningcar|s. The consist, bound for Germany, was hauled by a #BLS Cargo Class 485 #Bombardier #TRAXX electric, certified for operating in🇨🇭and 🇩🇪.

#TransEuropExpress #TEE vibes in April 2009 on this excursion train from #Basel 🇨🇭 to #Lindau 🇩🇪, cruising through northern Switzerland. Hauled by a #DB Class 103 electric - and a Swiss Re4/4I - the consist included a Dome Car, labelled #Rheingold.

Seen in #Munich 🇩🇪 yesterday - and already several times earlier on, at the same spot: the private #Railadventure #Luxon, a former #DB #Rheingold #TransEuropExpress #TEE #DomeCar. Just five of them were built, in the 1960s. The car seems to have its home base here in Munich.
