Zebra Print in Whitehall
The Trans+ Pride filled the streets of central London in July 2025, and after the march we were walking up past Whitehall accompanied by many who took part. There was plenty of glamour and beautiful people around, and I was so happy that this lady allowed me to take a photo of her! -

Two Met officers stood right in front of me, so I had to read the placard over their shoulders. Someone had hand-lettered it in the pink, white and blue of the trans flag, packing the words in tighter as the board ran out, and the last line vanishes behind a head anyway. At Trans+ Pride in London last year. -
Trans-themed Red-Tailed Hawk plush, handmade by me.
It's entirely made from thrifted supplies and stuffed with polyfill and plastic beans. It has pipe cleaner bones in the wings and legs allowing it to stand and pose.

I went to the first ever Copenhagen Trans Pride this Saturday.
Was a great vibe, but a bit rough in a manual wheelchair. I'm glad that a friend helped give an extra push, when it got a little too steep. 💜

Sunday at #TransPrideMCR is less structured generally. There will be two ongoing drop in workshops, one for zines, one for badge making! Folks are encouraged to bring food if they'd like! and there will be blood tests facilitated by Sapphic Bisons. All ran from 2pm till 7pm!

I went to #TransPride today. Got there half an hour after the march was due to start, and went to the back to watch them take another hour to get moving because there were so many people there of such gloriously diverse natures.
I had a moment when I realised that when I was in my 20s something like this would be unimaginable. It's amazing to see our progress, and we must demand more.
