I received an email last night from THE PRESIDENT(!) of the Tramdriver Championship. There had been conflicting reports that next year's competition would take place in either Potsdam or Warsaw. Here is what the email said:

Der Wettbewerb war sehr kollegial: Die beiden aus Wien z. B. haben bis zum Schluss mit den beiden aus Poznan mitgefiebert. Der englische Kommentator war sehr erfrischend. Sehr schön anzusehen war die große Vielfalt der Teilnehmenden, Deutschland war ein bisschen einseitig. Aber wo findet jetzt die nächste WM statt?
