You probably haven't been to a Trader Joes because it's an America-only supermarket chain.

I don't mind so much when Aldi copycats large bands. Going after Coca Cola or Nutella doesn't bother me. Going after a tiny indie producer is a different thing.

My Italian sour cherry trees arrived from One Green World.
As numbered in the photograph:

1 & 2: Amarena di Pescara Cherry, 1-gallon
3: Bianco Rosato di Piemonte Cherry, 1-gallon (used for Maraschino)

Now in the greenhouse with humidity greater than 70% to re-hydrate from their long trip from Portland (50 miles) in this hot weather, they seemed a bit limp.

Next step: harvest in 5 years and try to duplicate the Italian recipes for preserving them.
