Mike Edwards of Jesus Jones co-produced it (Okey Dokey is awesome) and Iain Baker used to recount on FriendFeed and Facebook how much fun it was to hang out with Traci and some of the things they got up to in London when she was recording over here.

Just saw #TraciLords mention on Facebook that she's celebrating her 55th birthday today. She's a fabulous human. Anybody who can count #JohnWaters as a friend is great in my book.
Her 1995 album 1000 Fires is a horrifyingly ahead-of-its-time release, produced by the Jesus Jones boys. I know some stories. Here's Control which actually features John Waters in it.

Not of This Earth (1988), a remake from Roger Corman's New World Pictures of his own 1957 sci-fi vampire film, this time with Jim Wynorski directing. Traci Lords stars and she's fine.
There's some horror, some cheesy special effects and plenty of humour.
It's all great fun - fast-moving, slick, action-packed and sleazy.
