The coffee mug of choice today is one I picked up years ago when I worked for a Deere dealership in Kansas. Was there for about seven years, first in the parts department and then back to service administration. While employed there, I developed the habit of acquiring toy tractors, this one, an 8870 four wheel drive, a Christmas gift for my son Ryan in 1995 or ‘96. After he was KIA in Iraq in 2006, I took custody of it. It’s here with me in the office each day.

Sittin’ in my La Z Boy on a decent early January afternoon here in northeast Wisconsin, watching “Captain Horatio Hornblower” (1951) on Turner Classic Movies and Jagger would like some chicken pot pie. And, yes, that’s a Tonka roller on my coffee table I got for Christmas, 1973.
