CW: Car accident
#PSA - Wear your #seatbelt! My mom (now in her 70s) always used to tell us as kids that "the car won't start unless you're buckled up!"
She rolled her Scion going over 50mph (65kph) this past weekend, and came away from it with nothing worse than bruises. The car didn't make it, nor did the airbag deploy, but it *did* crumple in such a way as to keep the driver safe.
As car accidents go, hers was pretty metal. Hope I'm half as sturdy at her age.
