Starmer’s hissy fit will make new PM’s job harder
So #Starmer is poisoning the water for his replacement, not for some incoming leader of another political party but for the incoming leader of his own party, as he has a juvenile hissy fit
He's trying to #encumber new PM from undoing the mess he has made as he continuously stumbles from 1 disastrous decision to another during his absolutely #catastrophic short time as PM

... Our system of #electing #MPs, #FPTP, means national outcomes often bear little relation to how people actually #vote
- In 2024, #Labour’s 34% vote share translated into two-thirds of the seats. But that massive #majority hasn’t lent stability, because #stability comes from popular support.

A recent study shows elite political discourse in Western democracies is getting more toxic — especially around migration, LGBTQ+ rights, and identity.
Ironically, toxicity drops during elections. That’s how normalized it’s become.🔗 https://arxiv.org/abs/2503.22411

It's been painful to watch this heartless, ongoing attack on Athabasca University, and the damage continues. Hearts out to President Peter Scott, the faculty, staff and other affected by this egregious political interference. Athabasca and the students it serves with its unique mandate and approach deserve better than this.
