Why are so many people happy to poison children, the environment, themselves just so the very wealthy can pocket more money?

While I find the headline to perhaps overemphasize the government funding, this just reinforces my assessment that industry as a whole (and especially #ToxicIndustry) cannot be trusted, There's just too much $$$ to be made (or lost)
