This joke is funnier if you understand the regional Boston accents.
At a friend's house in E Cambridge. Remarked on the neighbor's asphalt front yard, adorned with astroturf simulating grass, and plastic flowers in the asphalt, bordered with white plastic picket fencing.
"That's Mayan," my host said.
"Mayan?"
"Yeah, when we went to the open house for this place, we looked at her house from the sidewalk. She rushed out and said, "Mayan's not fah sale. THAT one is fah sale.'"

Also, as with many things, and many times in history, it seems the greatest support comes from those on the #Avalon - the whole crux of the #Bayman / #Townie divide. There is an element of #imposition by others who strand to share some of the benefits, but not the costs. Paternalistic talk about jobs doesn't help that, either.
