Merz lügt über Gehaltserhöhung für ihn und seine Bundesminister:innen
In Salzwedel wurde Bundeskanzler Merz vor wenigen Tagen von einer Bürgerin auf die ursprünglich geplante, extrem üppige Gehaltserhöhung für ihn und seine Minister:innen angesprochen.
Ursprünglich sollte Merz mehr als 60.000 Euro Gehhaltsplus (!) im Jahr bekommen, seine Minister:innen sollten rund 50.000 € zusätzlich kassieren (nein, da ist kein Komma verrutscht). Wie das die Regierung so macht, war die Erhöhung versteckt im Kleingedruckten eines Gesetzentwurfs, hinten auf Seite 79.
Erst nach massiven Protesten und kritischem Medienecho, wurde das Gehaltsplus etwas korrigiert und abgesenkt ('nur' noch eine Gehaltserhöhung von 10.000 €).
Darauf in Salzwedel angesprochen, log Bundeskanzler Merz ganz offen: zu keinem Zeitpunkt sei eine Erhöhung um 60.000 € vorgesehen gewesen. Er wiederholte: "Zu keinem Zeitpunkt!" sei eine Erhöhung vorgesehen gewesen.
Die Fragestellerin solle unterlassen, gegenteiliges zu behaupten. Das hatte fast schon einen drohenden Unterton bei Merz.
Lügen in der Politik sind Alltagsgeschäft, anders kann man es nicht sagen, aber so dreist und offen, mit drohenden Untertönen gegenüber einer krebskranken Frau, das erscheint, auch jenseits bloßer Empörung über die Lüge als solche, bemerkenswert.
Denn sie verweist darauf, dass hier, wenn auch (noch) in etwas geringerem Maße als in den USA von Trump und seiner Regierung praktiziert, auch Merz verstärkt auf 'alternative Fakten' setzt.
Die Lokaljournalist:innen vor Ort machten in diesem Fall einen miserablen Job, denn sie ließen dem Kanzler seine Lüge kommentarlos durchgehen.

"#Seattle police officers arrested three people, including 21- and 33-year-old men for obstruction and disorderly conduct, on Sunday afternoon at a #protest, which drew 75 #protesters at its height, the Seattle Police Department stated.
The protesters were demonstrating outside a #StandWithUs Northwest event with #MissIsrael, #NoaCochva, at #TownHall in downtown Seattle. Organizers kept the event location private, but #HannahSaunders, editor of a self-identified “antifascist” news site, encouraged readers to register and pay for the event to learn the location and then share the address on #socialmedia."

On the 29th of February, GOP scumbag Congre$$man Cory Mills faced disruption at his town hall in the Brannon Center in Volusia FL. As protesters hammered his brazen support for the murderous Nazis at ICE, he demanded a few seconds to speak. Over ther commotion he roared out some of the most hateful words ever heard at one of these town halls: "ICE ICE Baby."
Instantly the audience exploded into outraged booing. Cops removed several of the freedom fighters who had disrupted his drivel but the damage was done. It is clear to all that he endorses the murder, torture, and brutality of ICE and stands with Trump and his Gestapo.
