The City of Toronto's switch to using Circular Materials for recycling collection in Toronto made almost every mistake possible:
- many, many, many missed pickups
- a broken mobile app
- a broken address lookup function on website
- incorrect paper calendars sent to some addresses
- failing to respond to customer help callsIn particular, rolling out a new collection schedule to millions of people without ensuring that your website and app are functioning correctly is inexcusable.

If all you want are the waste collection dates in your phone's calendar - without installing an app - then you can subscribe to one of the free, public Google calendars or use the iCal date downloads from Toronto Schedules.
Currently includes both Daytime and Nighttime residential curbside collection dates for 2026.
