Als ich letzte Tage das zweite Mal im #Freizeitpark #Toverland war, habe ich mir nun wohl alle fehlenden Soundtrack-CDs gekauft (links oben hab ich bereits beim ersten Besuch im letzten Jahr gekauft).
Und bei den beiden Pin-Buttons vom roten, schelmischen #Drachen #Sparky und dem fröhlichen #Einhorn #Juna konnte ich auch nicht widerstehen 😍 Auch wenn die Motive zur besseren Erkennbarkeit mehr Kontrast bzw. bessere Konturen hätten vertragen können.

Vorletztes Jahr war ich das letzte Mal dort. Letztes Jahr war ich einmal im #Freizeitpark: Das erste Mal im #Toverland, zusammen mit einem lieben Fedinauten an meinem Vierzigsten.
Und als Nächstes ist für Anfang Juli wieder das Toverland geplant, dann mit meinen Eltern, meiner Schwester und ihrem dreijährigen Kind. Ich bin gespannt, wieviel sich meine Schwester nach so langer Zeit doch noch zutraut und ob wir irgendwann dann auch noch den Weg ins Phantasialand finden werden 😊

Ich bin heute in einer sehr schönen gelösten Stimmung. Gestern war ich anlässlich meines Geburtstages mit einigen Freunden im #toverland und hatte einen sehr schönen Tag. Mit dem Wetter hatten wir Glück, mit den Wartezeiten auch, war super. Mein immer schlanker werdender Körper hat gut durchgehalten und ich fühle mich heute fit. Noch vor einem Jahr wäre ich heute ziemlich tot gewesen.

After that, I managed to get three rides on Fenix. Easily the best attraction for thrill seekers, it's a sleek and unique wingcoaster by B&M, the makers of my absolute favorite in Phantasialand, Black Mamba. It's a real blast, with fun unique moments and even some airtime, which I did not expect in a wing coaster. It was my first time with that coaster. The only thing that was lacking was the theming on the ride. Yes, there is a huge animatronic and yes, it leads through a huge part of the new area, but compared to Black Mamba, it's lacking in that department.

Crowdsizes were pretty small and queues were very short for the most part, so I was able to re-ride a couple of things. But first things first: I immediately did Merlin's quest, since that ride gives you a nice first impression of the new area and I really dig the dark ride part in that one. It's the only ride with a dark ride part, so I was really looking forward to it.
For some context: My favorite park is Phantasialand, which is very lacking in terms of dark rides.

I know I have never talked about it on here, but I love #themeparks and #rollercoasters. Which is why I am very much looking forward to my vacation in the Netherlands. Haven't been there in a long time, even though it's pretty close. Going to visit both #Efteling and #Toverland for the first time!

Once an indoor park for young families, modern Toverland has grown enormously, and caters for all ages.
There's Troy, one of the best wooden coasters in Europe, Fenix, an absolutely beautiful wing coaster, and plenty of other quirky rides and attractions. The rides and areas are all beautifully presented, down to the colours of the electrical sockets.
