Haaaaaaaaaaaaay! Its finally in! My copy of Sherlock Holmes the Awakened is downloaded. I'm excited to play it. I played a bit of the Sinking City (not near enough tbh) and enjoyed what I did. But I'm not the best at shooting things in horror games. So no combat in this one sounds more up my alley.
...Though I'm going to wrap up the Deep Rock Galactic Easter event first.

Random #DeepRockGalactic thought. Playing through the Season 3 missions the guy that talks mentioned that the Miner's Union is bitching about working during a plague.
I think that's the first mention of a union? I know for a while on their discord they banned the word "Union" as a joke consistent with DRG the company's philosophy (It started breaking stuff so they turned it off.)
But I'm glad to see space miners have unions. its a step up.

If you're still able to, you all should really have a firesale at the end of the #3DS and #WiiU eShop's life. #Capcom has gotten a huge chunk of my money this week.
If I could buy 10 of your games instead of one #Nintendo game, I would. I'm using stuff outside my wheelhouse here.

An indie game that REALLY reminds me of some first person RPGs my neighbor and his dad liked in the 90's. Like then, I'm not that great at them.
Combat sucks imo.
It's 10× the price, but there is a Japanese series on the #3DS that does this far better.
Pass.

Third game tonight is #VampireTheMasqueradeSwansong. It had been in my radar, but in didn't know what to expect. So this trial was nice.
It looks great. The f2p VtM game looks like a butt in comparison.
Turns out its one of those talky Adventure games like Telltale made. Never been a fan of those. Picking the right dialog stresses me out. I like the dice mechanics over a timer, but still. No thanks.
So this trial saved me $40.

Well #Sony screwed me out of getting #PSPlus Premium for $80. It's on sale atm. But to get it, you must upgrade first. So I got 40% off 21 days & the sale is spent.
I'm going to complain on live chat tomorrow, but we'll see. If that falls through, I'll cancel on the 1st & buy a 12 month card off of #CDKeys for a 17% discount. Apparently PSN prorates PS+ cards for higher tiers. So I can get Plus Extra for $14 off. Not $20, but it's something. That $20 might save me money too.

My Nintendo Year in Review for 2022!
This is less descriptive than PlayStation's, but still interesting.
Splatoon 3 I played heavily during launch. Bug Fables when I was in the waiting room during my dad's surgeries. Sinking City I got when I learned of Frogware's predicament. What the Golf? is just a fun game too.
Not near as much playing as my PS5 or PC, but still fun.

Incidentally, I've been playing three #EA games this week.
#LostInRandom has heavy #AliceMadnessReturns vibes, though not as Edgy.
#MarsupilamiHoobadventure is an interesting modern 2D platformer with vibes somewhere between #RaymanOrigins and #Sonic. Not hard, but solid controls and a laugh here and there.
I also played some #NeedForSpeedHeat last night, which I got through #PSPlus. Reminds me of #BurnoutParadise, which is good. Miss Burnout though. -

Beat the first dungeon. A bit of luck and good choice in weapons. Also Swomp "Swomplifting" for me really helps.Further, I like the posters in her apartment.
