Neben dem Besuch antiker Stätten kann man in und um das Athener Stadtgebiet beispielsweise überraschend gut wandern. Es gibt sogar ganz zentral Berge und Wälder (schau mal die Hashtags #Lycabettus, #Philopappos, #Tourkovounia).
Kulinarisch ist die Stadt der Hammer; die griechische Küche mit ihren historischen Einflüssen von Meer und Land, Venezien, Balkan und Nahost ist super abwechslungsreich.(1/n)

Another thing I never expected to see in #Athens: Hundreds of #stalactites grown over the former entrance of a cave.
The cave is located on the southern slope of the #Tourkovounia hills. The internet says the it's called #Kakarapi cave.
