Before they were subtle, but almost never stopped as they were impossible to fully satisfy. They were smaller movements or twitches that were very frequently.

I switched to using a higher dose of #Guanfacine which is an #adhd and tic specific medication, and now they come in waves and are more forceful, and harder to contain.

But I can actually have some peace.

I still don't know why anyone does #meth after getting drugged with it for an extended period at a "sober living" house where I had never been less sober.

I was absolutely terrified of everyone and paranoid everything was trying to kill me.

Then started hearing and seeing stuff too.

I had 0 fun or euphoria. Just pure terror, sleep deprivation and extreme delusional thinking/paranoid behavior.

Don't do stimulants if you have #tourettes and #adhd it won't get you high.

Something I always wondered about people with #tourettes and #ticdisorders:

We're almost always empaths.

The part of our brain - the #prefrontalcortex - responsible for #empathy is slightly larger than usual while the part of our brain in our #basalganglia regulating motor planning/control, has faulty neuro-pathways and shrunken parts.

More connections to the PFC as an adaptation, resulting in glitchy motor controls but perhaps very deep emotions.

I really do have a hell of a combination to ensure my head hurts a lot.

1. I have #tourettes which comorbid comes with #migraine like headaches that are caused by suppression of #tics if I do it too much, essentially my nervous system overloading.

2. Constant neck/shoulder strain from dystonic tics that make me subconsciously tense my shoulders.

3. #visualsnowsyndrome which has actual migraines as an extremely common comorbid condition.

Where's my ibuprofen...

I just discovered I have a new condition:

#visualsnowsyndrome.

Here I thought everyone saw that way, like TV static across everything but RGB.

So far we are up to:

I don't have insulting vocal #tics often, but they are possible if I'm offended.

Usually they're random phrases I repeat, and things in my head that slip out before I can stop.

A guy walking by with a few people mocked one of my hand/arm movements as he passed me thinking he was out of sight, and I couldn't hear him act "retarded".

I spun around and said "You should walk into traffic while you're acting stupid before I MAKE YOU,".

The whole group shut up and kept walking.

I can feel my #nervoussystem in a literal way.

I get #tics in every muscle group, and they move like a wave and bounce between the left and right half of my body. My main nerves almost feel like a road way they travel through, and if I resist it's like a cord literally tugs through my body, and becomes painful after a while.

I can feel how your brain halves control the opposite side, as I get a sensation inside my skull that travels to the other side of my body.

Weird #tourettes moment of the day part FOUR-

One #symptom I have is my speech center NEVER STOPS. Even alone. I'll have whole-ass conversations with myself, you don't even really need to be here.

It also likes to try to throw ALL OF THE WORDS OUT AT ONCE, I have a bit of a stutter, and will try to say a thousand words together.

Someone asked me how I was, I said - "I'm oh just and good just great living the dream, how's yooer... Fuck,".

"That just made my day, thanks xD,".

My severe #claustrophobia is caused by #cptsd as prisoners got better treatment than I did as a kid.

#tourettes causes a lot of pain if you don't understand how to manage it. I suppressed my tics all the time out of shame, and fear from watching how my dad treated my mother. If you do that all the time, you're in immense pain.

He thought I was faking so he took everything from me. I was alone, with nothing to do, and could never leave either.

I just found out that the doctor I had at Soul Housing was lying to me about being on the max dose of #GabAPentin for some reason.

I was taking 1800 mg a day. Which is a lot. But when you have the kind of nerve damage, and #tourettes motor tics I do, it turns out you can take more if needed.

I was in genuine pain all the time from muscle spasms and cramps. They REFUSED to up it, or change it.

I now take 2400 divided into 3 doses.

I feel MUCH better.

Also a bit high xD

It only took one of the longest years to figure out support systems in #losangeles but I finally found a place I feel safe.

It was a living nightmare. It almost doesn't seem real.

I feel like I just got home from a warzone and silence scares me, and racing memories of everything awful that occurred replay constantly as my #ptsd worsened as a result.

#Guanfacine for #adhd and could help other issues, new.

#hydroxizine for sleep.

#flonase for nose

I realize now I should have had these 20+ years ago, and always had these issues.
