The #TourDownUnder is on in #Adelaide right now, so there are many more #bikes on the road. I have questions and a request for the #roadies that are celebrating the event by getting out on the road.
When you pass other riders, why do you pass at peloton distances? When you come to red lights, why do you just blow through them? When you do these things you make #cycling less safe for the rest of us, either directly or by tarring all the rest of us with the same brush in the minds of motorists.
Please don't.

The Tour Down Under went behind our place yesterday, and unusually it came past again today! First King of the Mountain was there too.
Stinking hot 43°C today so I don't envy the riders. Stay cool.

Adelaide folk: heads-up that the Tour Down Under stage to Willunga Hill on Saturday has been altered because of the fire danger and heat (nominally 43C, but we all know that the tarmac temperature is a lot higher). Including deleting Willunga Hill, and so moving the finish line into Willunga, which is pretty sensible if you think about a bushfire on the Hill with the usual big crowd.
Start time at Brighton is an hour earlier at 10:10 if you are cycling to the coast for that.

Out for a ride with my dad and a couple of the guys from #MudSweatAndGears this morning. Heaps of cyclists heading down to McLaren Vale to watch the men take on Willunga Hill. Going to be a great day for racing in the #TourDownUnder.
