Danny & Davin swapped their suits for mud this weekend 🏃♂️💪
They smashed the Tough Mudder to raise money for Dementia Carers Count, a charity supporting the UK’s 700k+ dementia carers.
So far we’ve raised £3,800 – that’s around 72 hours of counselling for carers who need it most.
The finish line may be behind them, but we’re still pushing for our £5k target by year-end.

Ich fürchte, ich werde morgen meinen letzten, deutschen Tough Mudder laufen. Spartan scheint das Format absichtlich abwickeln zu wollen. Ist ja quasi ein Konkurrenzformat zu Spartan Races.
Oder aber zu Xletix und/oder MudMasters.
Letztere haben ja auch die ganzen Strecken von Tough Mudder übernommen.
Mal sehen, was ich als nächstes Laufe. MudMasters kenne ich die Strecken zum Teil schon. Hätte ich schon Bock drauf.Gibt es eigentlich weitere Läufer solcher Formate hier?

I've been thinking about challenges for next year and ruling them out :blobfox_laugh_sweat:
#ToughMudder is a no because pipes and claustrophobia. #Hyrox is out because I'm not convinced I can do that much running. #Spartan looks like a possibility though but I'm a bit worried about the grip bars and 30 burpee penalties...
Do I know anyone who has done one? Or wants to next year?

I did my 1st Tough Mudder!!!
I did the 15k version, and though I sprained my ankle about 2/3 of the way through it, I still attempted every obstacle and finished the event with my team. And yes, I still biked home from my friends’ afterwards (only 2 miles)
It was a lot of fun albeit somewhat painful, but I am proud to have kept going. Now I must eat, bathe, and rest (ankle is iced and elevated)
