Came a very close second in the monthly quiz at the community centre. Only 1.5 points behind the leader. We only had a team of three whilst the winning team had five people. If we had an extra team member I think we would have achieved victory.

Our local orchard has many fruit trees in blossom so we ran a work party followed by a hanami (which I believe is a japanese term for tea ceremony to appreciate the transient beauty of blossom trees).
It was a lovely afternoon improving our community.

The moth trap had a bumper haul last night. Over 60 moths (hard to count them all). Probably about 12-15 species. Here are some beauties. Not identified yet.

A friend in #totterdown, is establishing an urban nature reserve where people make their gardens more wildlife friendly. We are docunting local wildlife and I have been loaned a moth trap for a few days. Previous users got 60+ moths in 1 night across 13 species.

The first brew of the year, our Hazy Session IPA Elvis Has Left The Building is all packaged and ready to go on the taps. Named after a bad kitty, it's always a popular drop here at Bruhaha and isn't likely to hang about for too long until it runs dry.

IT'S OUR ANNIVERSARY WEEKEND! 🥳 🥳
A year ago we opened the doors to our brewpub on Wells Road in #Totterdown for the very first time. Twelve months on and a lot has happened, including the installation of the brewery downstairs. Our very first taproom events on #WindmillHillCityFarm featured a good friend of ours - Tripledot - who brought down his desks and spun some wax to liven things up a bit. We've invited him back to do the same this Saturday night as part of our anniversary celebrations. He'll be playing live from 5-9pm, taking a break in between so Bruhaha's Steve can have a play too.

When we used to brew our beer on #WindmillHillCityFarm, all our used grain was added to the animals feed rather than thrown away. We continue to do this as part of our sustainable ethos, even though we've moved a little farther away up the hill to #Totterdown.
This is the leftover grain from this weeks lager brew (coming soon) which we took down to the farm on Wednesday morning. Another brew planned next week too.
