Tonight's random film was 'Totally Killer', a Blumhouse horror comedy with some heavy 'Happy Death Day' vibes, starring Kiernan Brennan . It was actually funnier than expected, also taking a jab at the true crime obsession and some of the usual time travel tropes. Not perfect, but it makes a perfectly enjoyable casual watch.

This weekend’s #SpookySeason movies were a mix of cheesy and suspenseful!
Totally Killer (new movie about a teen who time travels back to 1987 to stop a murder. My partner’s review: “That was the best and the worst movie I’ve ever seen.”)
Saw (the first one…very good! I hadn’t seen any of the Saw movies but my partner assured me the 1st one isn’t a gorefest like the sequels. Plus I’m a sucker for Cary Elwes. My review: “Whoa.”)

It's absolutely hysterical that the only thing the hero does to actually affect the outcome is accidentally get an ADDITIONAL person killed in the past, and the movie seems to have no idea how funny this is.
