Starting to wonder whether all this talk about war between NATO and Russia in the UK media at the moment is nothing more than Tory pre-election INFLUENCING.
"Defence" and military is always associated with Tories in UK and it advantages them to stoke up fear in population.
No doubt the war-mongering influencing suits the arms manufacturers who have deep links with the Tories.
We'll see more of this over the run-up to the Westminster election in the UK.

My latest for The Independent is up. On Suella Braverman's parting scrawl, the disastrous attempt of a political generation to power government by hot air and headlines, and how much you can tell about people from the way they fail.

Pretty disappointed and depressed about the #BBC today as they're taking #GaryLineker off air for expressing his personal politics on the birdsite, and they're self-censoring a really important programme by #DavidAttenborough which includes a look at the causes of nature destruction in #Britain
They're acting like a mouthpiece for the #ToryGovernment not a neutral public service broadcaster at all

The UK is experiencing a lot of strikes at the moment by Public Service workers. Mick Lynch (Railways) is very much at the forefront of the Industrial Action. This video by Mick Lynch is useful in setting the context and the worrying attempts by the Westminster establishment to undo hard-fought labour rights! This is worth a watch to give perspective! @13sarahmurphy #rmt #nurses #workersrights #strikeaction #labourlaws #ukstrikes #torygovernment
