  1. “THEY ARE NOT THE OTHER. THEY ARE US.”: Gibson rules on 100vic

From Apr. 16 to Apr. 20, 2026, the Ontario Court of Justice heard the case The Regional Municipality of Waterloo v. Named Respondents and Persons Unknown. This case was the result of an application filed by the Region of Waterloo to determine that the Sit-Specific By-Law Number 25-021, A By-Law Respecting the Use of 100 Victoria Street North, Kitchener (as Owned by the Regional Municipality […]

  2. @univrsle Message to #BrianLilley of the #TorontoSun, a foreign-owned #Postmedia propaganda rag: The only skill #PP has mastered is auto-eroticism. One which you seem to greatly admire.

  3. Yeah I did write for the Toronto Sun for a number of years. Love when people think this is the ultimate mic drop and then I can educate them.

  4. Testimony at the Trump trial today from a publisher about an agreement with a wack job politician to bury negative stories about said wack job politician and run fake news negative stories about his non wack job opponent. Sounds like a regular Tuesday at the Globe and Post, Sun Tabloids, #CTVNews and #globalnews

  6. @Lpm1 My comment was directed to the #TorontoSun and not Karen, who posted it. I apologize if she felt it was directed at her. Or if the toot was misunderstood.

  7. @rachaiello it was a #TorontoSun article. One of the #Postmedia rags that purports to report news but has morphed from #FourthEstate to #FilthEstate. And we have Herr Harper to thank.

  8. 23 years ago I wrote this column for the Toronto Sun about the day after Y2K. Like a lot of my writing, I was seriously riffing off of Stephen Leacock, notably Arcadian Adventures with the Idle Rich.

  9. I tried to introduce the readers of my Toronto Sun column to the Church of the SubGenius back in 1997. Was I successful? Probably not. How to describe the average Toronto Sun reader in the 1990s? Mostly male. Likes 20-year-old tits, hockey, beer, most of his furniture is rent to own, and wonders how to finance a new car stereo.

I felt like a kind of a Netizen version of Dwight Yoakam. If he could introduce country music to punk rockers, I could introduce people who maintain subway cars to the early days of the Internet, Usenet, the Church of the Subgenius, and Doctress Neutopia.
