There have historically been two bridges at the south end of Cherry Street in Toronto. The currently broken 'southern Strauss Trunnion Bascule Bridge' over the dead-end ship channel, and this bridge, from 104 years ago today over the Keating Channel and the mouth of the Don River. It was once replaced, and now the Port Lands rejuvenation has included new bridges, slightly west.
