Lessons from cycling for 13 mins in -20°C after a massive snow storm:
- I have to cycle slowly
- Snow accumulated in bike lanes makes them unusable
- Cycling is still faster than all the cars. They keep passing me, and I keep passing them when they stop at loooong queues at red lights
- Beard and moustache icicles form much faster at this temperature
- I need a thinner touque that fits better under my helmet. And a winter tires for my bike. -
