Anyone ever done a 'community project bingo card'? Don't think people have any idea how broken the system is and how much social work type stuff small, poorly funded local organisations like us have to do. This week I have spent hours talking with hospital, police, post office and train station staff, council, housing team, GP surgery to track down a missing person and get them the help they need. Hopefully all sorted now .. absolutely none of this is my job but we have the local connections to do it. For those of you wondering where social services fits in, I could not get hold of social services at all.. was on hold for an hour and gave up. Instead of looking at the issues that create depression: poverty, poor physical health, loneliness, robotic underpaid work, exploitation by employers…the #Tory government attacks the individual and GPs.

#Sunak knows that polling in farming constituencies in England is currently at rock bottom for the #Tories. Labour was reported as being ahead of them in these areas just this week.

Of course #JeremyHunt needs to protect and reduce #InheritenceTax it has no impact on the government coffers unlike Maggie working 40hrs a week in a care home. SHE caused the highest #inflation since WWII OBVIOUSLY.

#Sunak yet again shows himself to be a climate delayer who thinks he can ignore his party’s recent climate COP pledges and the plight of 25 Commonwealth countries who are island nations…not to mention the rest of the Global South who are already paying the price of climate breakdown.
Make no mistake, this is the short sighted agenda of the ultra wealthy. There is fossil fuel and dark money funding this position.

This is encouraging news during #RefugeeWeek that most Brits contrary to Tory rhetoric actually wants to welcome refugees.
We need people to vote with their heart not their supposed wallets (although quite why anyone would think after 13 years of austerity and cost of living crisis the Tories make them better off is beyond me…).
