For no particular reason, just a reminder that by community consensus one of the mastodon.nz rules is that "Posts about politics must be tagged one or more of #nzpol, #tōrangapū, #pol, and/or #politics, and optionally may be content warned." Also just be wary of what you boost as there's bound to be a lot of misinformation out there.

It might be because you didn't tag the posts as politics. Seems dumb but Rule 7 states:

"Content Warnings are mandatory on posts containing gore and/or violence. Posts about politics must be tagged one or more of #nzpol, #tōrangapū, #pol, and/or #politics, and optionally may be content warned."

The use of #AoPol has also not been implemented into the updated rule both due to its use as the ISO 3166 code for Angola, and its potential more broadly to mean earth/global/world, but in the interests of using te reo Māori, we've added #tōrangapū—which is the Māori word for politics—as an option for tagging. Lastly, we will be sure to create a thread reminding everyone on how to use filters should this rule pass. (3/5)
