It's Pride Month and it's the perfect time to post a useful guide I made last year with some updates:
✍️ TOP SURGERY SCAR: REFERENCE GUIDE FOR ARTISTS AND WRITERS ✍️
Although the double incision is the most common and it's totally valid, I believe more top surgery scars deserve be represented and here's my contribution to make it happen.

In case anyone wants to know what dog ears are, this sort of shows you where, though it's not a view where the name makes sense.
It's edge of this scar, under my arm, where it doesn't lay flat - it forms an odd dimple when I'm standing up that resembles the triangle of a dog's ear. A technique for treating scars, including dog ears, is through tattoos. The needle breaks up scar tissue, and many people find their scars lay flatter after.

One last attempt at trying to get some #MutualAid for this microwave cause I will not have a usable microwave for 3 months after my surgery on the 18th.

Just paid my first surgery loan away today. (: One more to go and then we can focus on actually saving more for things like - moving, a new bed, laptop for my partner (who would need it to try to find remote work). <3
