I spent 6 hours 7 minutes at a local reserve today -- Bowling Green Marsh. As much enjoyment from this as travelling to see a 'special' bird.
Highlights 4 x Spoonbill (with sticks! (I don't think I've seen this behaviour before)), Common & Green Sandpiper, Cattle & Little Egret. 34 species in total.

A wonderful rehearsal this evening for our production of Romeo & Juliet. The public show tour launches at Brixham Theatre on June 14th. / Wednesday evening rehearsals at the moment are all about fine-tuning scenes then full show runs on Sundays. We were also delighted to welcome Iz, a lovely lady doing her PhD in the accessibility of theatre technology, who is using our production as one of her case studies.

A pleasant couple of hours spent in Bowling Green Marsh Hide, the air was still and the full sound of Redshank, Black-tailed Godwit and Wigeon could be heard. Three Spotted Redshank, one Ruff and this Marsh Harrier were the highlights.
