  1. I like to think that my understanding of technique is one of my stronger climbing traits - and I probably understand it better than I can perform it in many cases... Except jamming and crack technique; that, I'll freely admit (and hardly a surprise to anyone who's watched me try), I don't get. I've tried, I kinda understand the principles, I kinda understand how it *should* work, but when I've tried (if it works at all), it's super-high effort. Basically, I suck at it. Not a lot of chances to practice at your average climbing wall, or indeed your average English crag. Harrisons Rocks, however, has a fair few cracks. Figured that if I was playing solo anyway, I ought to try. Armed with a few WideBoyz tips I think, by the end of this horribly dogged crack, I understand the physics of it a little better. Guess I'll have to go back and try some more...
