Seriously though, photos and videos of men flexing their exposed pectoral muscles online and in public on a hot day or around a body of water are a dime a dozen. You know what really sticks out? Not wearing a shirt except for covering just your areolas, the same exact ones that women have but are forced to cover up in any situation that doesn't condone full body nudity. THAT'S what gets people's attention and makes them stop for a second to think how insanely sexist and misogynistic gender-based censorship is.

When I beg y'all who actually do support my fight for anti #censorship #gender #equality (aka #topFreeDom / #toplessEquality) to leave comments of support on my videos and posts where others can actually see them, I swear it's not just because I'm "farming engagement" so my content shows up in recommended feeds and search results (though that is an added benefit). It's that putting dozens of hours of work into creating a video, only to have the only comments/feedback I get on it come from perverts and haters who treat me like a sex doll with absolutely no regard for my arguments is soul-crushingly depressing. Not just that, but only seeing pervy and hateful comments on a video only emboldens the haters to post even more of that deplorable filth.

I know it's scary to risk having the haters turn their claws towards YOU, but imagine how it feels for me, the current and only target for their insults and belittling. Please be assured that other than community support, I get NOTHING from the countless hours and work I put into Topless Topics--I'm constantly getting banned from every platform that isn't a porn site or extremely niche like the fediverse, which obviously means monetization and sponsorships are an impossible dream for me, and the fact that I DON'T provide sexual content (because that just confuses people when I say "female nipples are not inherently sexual" but then turn around and provide actual sexual content) means that pretty much the only people willing to buy my artistic nude photography prints or donate on Patreon are those doing so for sexual gratification.

If becoming rich and famous was my own goal, I'd forget the whole "wanting the same exact right to go topless online and in public that only 'people who look male' get" thing and make porn (which even then isn't a guaranteed success, but at least I'd be making SOME money). I really do care about achieving equality, and the only way we can ever do that is if a LOT more people speak up about the hypocrisy, instead if just me vs the legions of haters and perverts who see me as nothing but a walking pair of tits.

Even after ten years of making videos like this, it's still so crazy to me to stop every now and then and look at the video and marvel at how something like this gets banned on every single platform that isn't explicitly a porn site as "sexually explicit nudity," just for having nipples on a "person who looks female" visible. It doesn't matter how incredibly boring or mundane the topic is, or the fact that I'm just SITTING THERE, doing nothing at all with my body but talking--but because I "look female," my upper torso is always and automatically thrown into the same category as hardcore porn. Meanwhile anyone who "looks male" can LITERALLY BE DOING A STRIP TEASE, or "comedically" playing with his nipples, and HE is left up, patriarchy-safe, unbanned.

How does this not infuriate more people?? Almost every time I bring the subject up of gender-specific #censorship to anyone my age or younger (and occasionally those before my generation), they agree that banning nipples only on those who "look female" is #sexist #misogynist and absurd, and yet year after year, the status quo just...doesn't change. All these platforms performatively claim to support #LGBTQ / #queer equality (especially in June) yet this blatantly unfair demonstration of oppression against those who "look female"--I phrase it that way because it doesn't matter what you identify as, what you were assigned at birth, none of that--only whether algorithms and legislators think you "look male" or "look female"--stays in place, unchallenged and unabated.

Sorry, same old rant..back to video editing. Maybe someday we'll crack the code to forcing these companies to pretend to support #genderEquality re:censorship 🙃

But I would b free curious to see some smaller servers opened with the INTENT of posts being open to threads, to try to encourage basic users to see the kinds of (non-nazi) content by limiting themselves to meta's platforms. Specifically, figure out how to let them know my #freethenipple videos exist, beyond putting up super-pre- #censored posts on existing centralized platforms that go "if you're curious about this video, type in this link* to see it uncensored on my #peertube account!" that will just get #banned and #shadowbanned anyway (see https://www.toplesstopics.org/banned for hundreds of screenshots of proof)
*I have to break the hyperlinks to my own website, aka" go to toplesstopics(dot)org to see my videos" rather than "go to toplesstopics.org" or #YouTube will hit me with yet another strike for "linking to porn"... On my own website... Merely for having "female looking nipples" visible in my topic-based vlogs and interviews. But back to meta/threads/etc, is that even possible? I'm one of the ten people on mastodon who joined before the November Twitter exodus who isn't a programmer (lol) so I barely understand what "activitypub" etc means, but until something like a server that allows all nipples, not just male nipples, to be visible-but NOT porn, which is currently my only option for posting my content outside of mastodon, where more than ten people might find it--gets specifically defederated by meta, is there a chance threads users might stumble onto, or dare I even hope, SHARE a post about one of my videos to other threads users?

I mean, I don't have the resources or knowledge to start my own instance, and I would much rather the instances I'm already on not federate with meta so that all my past posts suddenly become viewable to those who refuse to try out non-Facebook platforms. Decided I'm going to spend today's livestream going through and preparing my old #artistic #nudephotography photoshoots to sell as four-packs on Etsy. I sold them on etsy before, but I hated that etsy takes a large cut, and costs money every month just to have the listing up. But since I have yet to find an affordable, reliable, trustworthy #webDeveloper to install an #eStore straight to my website and I can't figure out how to #webCode to do it myself, then it's the only option I see to make any income at all, since of course all my #feminist #freeTheNipple / #toplessEquality videos are banned from #monetization (when they're not #banned and #censored entirely) and sponsors won't touch me with a ten foot pole.

It's all so exhausting and ridiculous but thinking about my #newYearsResolution I really don't see how I can in good faith keep up this fruitless pursuit of #contentCreation, when I can't make any money off of it (to break even, let alone afford to hire outside help), I can't grow, and 90% of my audience remains pornbots who only follow my #genderEquality #activism to whack off.

So maybe if I can't at least break even by the end of 2023, that'll officially be it... I may continue to put up very low quality #vlogs now and then for fun, but no more FTN, no more interviews, no more trying to treat this like a career. Because it's just not #proCapitalism #adFriendly enough to ever make it worth putting yet another 15+ years into it, as I've already done.
