#Tooter the friendly #Sailfishos masto client has an update , 1.8.1, out implementing oath via Amber. This means no more user specific auth info in tooter. Coming to #chum and harbour soon. Binaries on github.

Hot on the tail of 1.1.2 Announcing version 1.1.3 of #tooter , your friendly neighborhood #SailfishOs #sfos mastodon client. In #chum, now.

This release fixes bugs with
- people search breaking
- bookmark navigation

Some duplicate toots are still or apparent again, but search works properly again. I need a QA team. Any takers ;)

This release fixes bugs with
- toot dupes
- bookmark navigation
and introduces some methods for views that are as yet missing.
Should appear in #chum today. In testing now or pull the binary from github.

Not that I'm not erratic and errata prone by nature, but current flakiness is due in the main TOO TRYING TO FLUSH THE BUGS OUT of this #johnmastodon client. Sigh. #tooter (gratuitous plug for #sfos here)

Tooter.in is just copying #Free
Software and shamelessly calling it 'Made in #India'. It is made by people from around the world and shared freely.

Either they did not write even a single line or they are violating the #AfferoGPL #copyright license, which requires them to publish their changes. They are linking to original code in #gab project repos (which is a fork of #mastodon).

Even the terms of service is just copied with references to first amendment in the USA.
