Before the next big snow, use reflective stakes to mark:

Driveway edges

Mailbox & walkways

Outdoor units (AC/heat pump, gas meter, etc.)

Once everything is covered, those markers help prevent damage from shovels and plows and can save you from expensive repair surprises in the spring.

• Make sure there’s one on every level + near bedrooms
• Replace old batteries and expired units (most last ~7–10 years)
