Yay! Go me! I just squished most of today's plans by mentally going... I don't think... No, I don't really care as it's going to be too hot again.

Must make more effort to get on the treadmill as much as I can, little & often. The downside on that is the constant switching to & from an activity & feeling more & more done in & bored with doing it each time I need to switch back to THAT same activity. The heat isn't helping.

Just the right activity for the weather: trying to catch a parakeet loose in local park. 🥵 Clearly somewhat comfortable with people, outlasted the sparrows as I approached, but didn't get to throw my towel, after waiting half an hour+ for him to come down from the trees. (We were at this for an hour and a half total!) 😬 May try again this weekend. He's fine with his flock of sparrows until it starts getting chilly! . . .

Fun fact, it was so hot yesterday that the motor on my ebike overheated while I was cycling home... up a hill. So, yeah, yesterday, I inadvertently learnt about "limp mode".

For your bike to suddenly throttle halfway up a hill is both disconcerting and exhausting.

Thankfully, the motor is working fine this morning, but lesson learnt; my bike is now parked in my air-conditioned lab.
