Today was the first sunny day in like a month, so we wanted to take a walk outside. However, this is what we saw on the stairs, and we didn't have the heart to wake them up (they would 100% run away if we opened the door). So we cancelled the walk.
(Fun fact: I called these two the stray gang, but they don't really hang out together - only when they meet on our porch and decide to take a nap on the super wonderful new blanket. Then they're fine sharing body warmth.)

As I reflect back to when I started my journey of being awesomely adorable, times were so simple and unrestrained. I could relieve myself anywhere, do what I wanted and get into the arms of anyone with lots of oooh's and awww's. Adulting is difficult - now it's don't do that, do this, get off me, don't chase the mailman... so many rules! But, I ❤️ my human family to pieces and they really get my butt wags going!

My cat loves it when I do my morning edge-of-bed stretches. LOVES it. The moment I sit down to do my stretches, he bops into my back, arm and sides and curls up in my general vicinity.
Today I had my eyes closed for part of it and then opened them while in side bend and saw this next to me.
I mean….
Needless to say I paused my app and snapped the picture.

@ablackcatstail Tusky has been my favorite Android app for Mastodon. But I'm not a fan of the new icon that auto-arrived today... It went from an abstract graphic pair of tusks to a cutesy cartoon elephant that would be too cute for the home screen of my teenage daughter! Can we get an option in the next update to choose the icon?
I was impressed by Metatext's icon choices and customization on the iPad. Too bad that app is no longer going to be updated.
