One of the many great live sets from the #CruelWorld music festival at the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles, a reformed #TonesOnTail (Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins of #Bauhaus, Love & Rockets, and Poptone). It was a deeply serrating sound, dark and sharp, and showed a band not just putting in "heritage tour" vibes.

Daniel Ash - Stripped
Out of all the folks in Bauhaus, Daniel Ash feels like the one who felt the most hemmed in by the success of that band, and later, Love and Rockets.
Stripped takes material from those and Tones on Tail and radically reworks them, tilting hard into club, reggae, etc. (Originally, it was going to be acoustic but Daniel, no surprise, found that boring.)
