Watching liberals like #TimChambers lecture people directly impacted by #CharlieKirk and his ilk as to how they 'should' react to his death has been a good refresher that #liberals & #progressives are not real allies to the marginalized. Even people who had been directly targeted have attempted to tell them the horrific impact on their lives but there is a refusal to permit people the right to their own feelings and reactions.
Charlie Kirk intentionally terrorized broad swaths of society, ranging from the LGBTQ community, to black, indigenous and people of color, to higher education professors (for whom he maintained a hit list) and many, many more.
It is utterly rational, and requires no defense that those on those lists or those who have any empathy for them would celebrate the fact that someone took him out. That does not mean they are calling for violence, it means they have had to live under threat for years, more than a decade in many cases, never knowing when one of his crazed followers would try to harass, assault or murder them and now that person is no longer there to incite such violence.
#TonePolicing those who have to live under such oppression is wrong, it is the opposite of ally-ship and makes clear that as we sink into further oppression they will NOT have anyone's back. -

Als Gast habe ich heute an der Sitzung eines bezirklichen #Sportausschuss|es teilgenommen.
Sie wurde von einem #SPD-Mann geleitet.
Ich durfte verfolgen, wie der #Sozialdemokrat die Pracht seiner #fachlich|en #Überforderung erwartbar mit #klassistisch|em #TonePolicing & #Mansplaining zu kaschieren versuchte.
Ihr wisst ja fast alle, wie wichtig ist, keine #rechtsgerichtet|en #Akademikerpartei|en wie beispielhalber die SPD oder #dieGrünen zu #wählen.

Das wirksamste Mittel ist die Erhöhung der politischen Oportunitätskosten, indem die Stimmberechtigten an Wahlen teilnehmen und für Wahlvorschläge stimmen, die im aktuellen Parlament oder in der aktuellen Kommunalvertretung nicht vertreten sind.

Mit #Widerstand zu winken ist legitim, aber so, wie Du ›an eye for an eye‹ hier verwendest, ist es ein antisemitisches #Stereotyp, da es in diesem biblischen Rechtssatz nicht um harte Vergeltung geht, sondern um die Begrenzung von Rache:
Der Tenor dieses Rechtssatzes ist das Signal der #Milde, nicht der #Rachsucht. —
Und Nein: Weder ist dieser Einwand #TonePolicing, noch bin ich Fan der #Grüne|n.

CW: Sprache, Fachsprache, Begriffe haben, Konzepte kennen
Es ist echt hilfreich, Wort zu haben um Konzepte zu benennen.
Dann kann ich sagen:
"Ah, #WhiteFragility ! "
oder "hm, das ist #tonePolicing !"
und andere wissen, was gemeint ist.Klar wissen nicht ALLE sofort was gemeint ist, die Worte sind eben NICHT selbsterklärend. Aber wenn man das Konzept (das man mit dem passenden Wort auch nachschlagen kann) kennt, kann man mit dem Konzept-Name schnell und einfach darüber reden.
Das ist gar nichts Neues, ich würde sagen, es geht um #Fachsprache, die Fachleute verwenden, um schnell und gut zu kommunizieren. (Eine Arzt würde bei einer OP eher nicht sagen "ich brauche jetzt so eines von diesen sehr scharfen, kleine Messern, damit ich dieses Stückchen hier unter dem länglichen Schlauch durchschneiden kann" - sondern was anderes, sehr präzises. (ich würde das nicht verstehen, die Menschen im OP aber sehr genau).
