Ex: There’s a lot of syncretism between indigenous figures/ideologies and Catholic figures. La Virgen de Guadalupe is a great example of this, as she is believed to have originally been the Aztec/Mexica goddess #Tonantzin. So, in the expression of faith? Yes, somewhat. Specifically in this nacimiento? Not so much, beyond La Virgen.
