[Continued]I used the #tombow brushpens with some special marker paper from Hahnemühle. But the paper would bulge and it's hard to actually blend, the colors are bleeding into each other instead.
With the mixed media paper it's easier to get consistent color and blending worked better but I'm not happy either. Also the surface of the paper would get destroyed a bit.
Is it me and I need more practice? Are the brushpen not good enough? How can I make it work? -

So #copicmarkers are alcohol based and the #tombow brushpens are water based. I asked about what paper to use and I guess they recommended me what would have been great for the alcohol based markers. Also they recommended some mixed media paper and I think I have the same one at home already. ...

One month lightfast test with Tombow markers. Almost full Florida sun every day.
Artists! Make sure to take care of your work. If you're not using lightfast products, preserve them with pictures/scans, & store them properly!
Also give notices to buyers if you're selling your original artworks made with non-lightfast materials (it WILL fade!) or just sell prints!

I am back! And here is another page from my mini sketchbook. I am starting to enjoy this one a lot more than the bigger one. Next to work, doing the @psychoSoph and other live stuff, it is sometimes difficult to find time to fill bigger pages. The small format fits me very well at the moment.

I have no darkroom any more.
So I end up in the parking garage of our new place, coating several square metres of paper with cyanotype chemicals.
I've cut it into squares for a new project.
Tools - X-acto knife, Fiskars cutting mat, metal ruler, Fabriano watercolour and archival tissue paper. Tombow pencils.
And Border Collie.
