My wife said we were going to see #TomAllen , whose #comedy I am a fan of. It turns out it was his book launch, for #CommonDecency that we were going to.
He was very good though, still very entertaining, and made me think that maybe I should read the book…

The man looked crestfallen and also mildly affronted. I wasn t sure what he expected me to say. He turned to leave and I took it upon myself to pursue the matter. 'Why do you ask?'
'Well, you looked like you were on your own.'
I was confused. 'Sorry, did you ask me if I liked vaginas?'
'No' he looked even more affronted, because Americans can be quite formal at times. 'I said, "Would you like to Join Us?"'

Watching the #lilysavage prog reminded me of The Big Gay Wedding a few nights ago.

I usually find #tomallen very very annoying. Not because he is gay - that's 100% cool - but the way he is so over the top camp.

I get that’s part of his schtick, but for me, annoying.

So it was great to watch #thebiggaywedding and see him as more him.
