Wonderful sunny day, lots of green around and a pleasure for the legs.

This is one of the RARE hills, where I often walk without camera. But that day the clouds were so low that I just brought it - hoping for some exceptional shots... Exceptional for the location - not wordlwide exceptional ;-)

I was out recently just for a bit of training. Luckily I also packed the camera "just in case ..." and saw this frosty / snowy scene.

I tested non-breathable rain pants over my cycling trousers. - Yes, windproof. But condensation inside. Rest was okay.

Good to get out and active for almost an hour.

I escaped the #fog today for a while, took some photos, noticed that I should start training a bit more in the next weeks.

But most importantly, I just enjoyed being out, had some friendly words with some hikers and had some fresh air.

I didn't go to the mountains today but went for a little bike ride. In the shade it was a bit icy. This way, even boring forest roads are a bit technical. 😊

Liked it! I'm just wondering if I should try broader tires for these conditions 🤔. On the other hand, I didn't have any issues.

For several reasons I didn't do mountains this weekend. But I enjoyed a nice cozy loop in the vicinity to the #kirchsee.

At this spot I made a quick stop and thought: #silentsunday! Not even wind. Just a lake, view, mountains in the distance and me and my bike.

Ahhwm almost forgot that it is #MountainMonday ! So I quickly discarded my previous idea and share another photo from Saturday's #hiking adventure.

I was a bit surprised by the chill wind at the top but I had a great day. The best is that it was also quite some training for my legs and arms. I really utilised the poles when pushing up. 🙂

But folks: beware of frosty ground! It's really tricky now.

Hey guys! I just a did a quick loop in the local mountains (same as recently). Luckily, I managed to hike in just those 3 hours where the sun broke through the clouds.

I've finished quite some other stuff now so that I can come back more to Mastodon. Just getting out in the mountains was a real pleasure today. Close to the end I even met another hiker for some nice chat.
