The #Ayatollah #TollBooth cannot be allowed to work. If #Iran gets away with this then #Turkey and #China will do something worse in case of #Bosporus and #SouthChinaSea.The Strait of #Hormuz is a natural waterway. It is not Suez, nor Panama. Nor is it the #Kiel canal. It is natural and not man made. It is governed under #UNCLOS. It cannot have a toll. It cannot be allowed to have a toll.

Do ships that transit the southern route, i.e. near the coast of #Oman, pay tolls to the #Ayatollah #Tollbooth, i.e. #PGSA? If no then #Iran's hold is tenuous.
#Iran's hold over strait of #Hormuz can be broken. The strait can be bypassed by pipelines and rail-links to #Saudi ports on #RedSea and to the #UAE, #Omani, #Yemini ports in Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea. Many of these pipelines and rail links already exist. They will need to have their capacity augmented.

#DJT does not have the political will nor the military capability to destroy the #Ayatollah toll both in Strait of #Hormuz. He is hoping that the agreement with #Iran opens it up. Or there is a #TollBooth but only in Iranian waters and not in #Omani waters nor in the international channel in the middle of Iran and Oman. #Iran will disagree with both.
