Ein Besuch beim #TokyoTower ist für viele #Japan-Reisende sowieso ein Muss. Wer ein bisschen mehr Zeit mitbringt, sollte das Pflichtprogramm mit einem ausgiebigen abendlichen Spaziergang verbinden. Zwischen der Küste der Bucht von Tokyo und dem Wahrzeichen der Metropole finden sich Meeresblicke, stille Schreine und altehrwürdige Tempeltore.

It was with a Nintendo store, which was fun too.
Thanks! The tower area was cloudy (or artificial clouds?) in that area when we got there, I just managed to get a moment when the clouds drifted off.

Day 36. Tokyo, Japan.
11 July 2025.
Our last day in Tokyo, 12 day visit to Japan has absolutely flown. I will definitely come back, it is a superb country.
It's a day of ticking off lists, visiting Godzilla in his store, more Izakaya bars, finding a new Shibuya Crossing photo spot & the Tokyo Tower.
Knackered but happy to get the chance to visit, sad to leave.
Next stop.. Seoul again!

With plenty of afternoon left we walked ~25mins to see the #KoiNoBori at #TokyoTower - there wasn't much and the traditional children's games were all closing. Cue tears.
Plan B, go up the tower! Top deck was sold out until about 8pm, so we did just the main deck. Youngest surprised us by wanting to go up the stairs and led the way - all 600 steps! Obviously recharged after being carried to the tower..
