Just how absurd can a train service get? 🤯 It's Sunday morning in Kristinehamn, which means it's time for another #TokeriiBergslagen revival (https://mastodon.social/@larstransportworld/114174765948983792). Tågab's Sunday-only service is the only passenger train on the Bergslagen line. The southbound and northbound services use different lines. For #Streckensammeln reasons, it's now time for the northbound service. Today, a former SL X10 with a mix of different seats is transporting all three (!) passengers. #BlankSpots

We're not in Bergslagen 🇸🇪 but in Drammen 🇳🇴. It's a beautiful day and about time to go for a day of rail photography. We're heading south with a #Vy RE11 service towards Skien, worked by a Swiss built Flirt trainset with vending machines. Without Bullar in it, although... 🤨

An NSB type 70 takes us from Notodden back to Nordagutu. There we change to the #Sørtoget to Drammen. It is a very cosy NSB type 73. #TokeriiBergslagen

As it is Sunday evening (yes, this thread is delayed) and there are no more Tågab trains until Thursday, we have to find an intermediate activity and take the #SJ Intercity to Oslo. We change for a #Vy Regionekspress to Drammen, where we spend the night. #TokeriiBergslagen

We change trains in Linköping to avoid Stockholm. A #Mälartåg double-decker class ER1 EMU is waiting for us. I have mixed feelings. I like the wood imitations and the seats, the materials seem high-quality. However, the atmosphere seems cramped to me because of the seating arrangement and the roller blind case that covers the upper part of the windows. Anyway, I am glad that Mälartåg now accepts #Interrail 😊. #TokeriiBergslagen
