稍微中性的表达是 #身份政治 #IdentityPolitics ，但这一说法也随着右派污名化而变成了社会语境下对多元文化的攻讦；明明右派才是最爱搞身份政治的（MAGA里的「American」就是身份之一），而随着政治狗哨的传播，所有讨论无论正反都开始使用「政治正确」这一说法
在很多时候，表达者所说的「政治正确」其实是想批判 #装点主义 #Tokenism ；但这种批判的目的原本是要求商品生产更加深入和广泛地探索多元主义，而不是反过来；更多的人仅仅是依此为借口（「多元主义的存在要符合〇〇逻辑、要合适〇〇场景、要贴近〇〇历史或〇〇现实」等等）来打压非顺直白男群体的现身和表达，否定多元主义的可见性（#Visibility）。
representative matters. 在文化作品中呈现女性、酷儿、少数族裔、身材积极性等至关重要，因为我们同样是这个社会的一份子；我们的存在并不需要任何「理由」、任何「意义」、任何「适合」才能够在文化作品中出现；反之，正因为我们的存在被打压、被掩盖，才变成了政治正确。
